Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between RemindCash, operated by an individual developer, [postal address] ("RemindCash", "we", "us"), and the person or business that creates an account ("you"). By creating an account you accept these Terms. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you may bind it. Contact: [email protected].

1. The service

RemindCash is a paid software service for tracking receivables and sending scheduled payment reminders to your own customers by email and, where enabled, SMS or WhatsApp. RemindCash does not collect or process payments from your customers, act as a debt collection agency, give legal, tax or accounting advice, or verify that a payment was received.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18, give accurate information and use RemindCash for business or professional purposes. You are responsible for your credentials, API keys and the actions of team members you invite. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Free trial

Each new company receives one free trial of 7 days. No payment card is required.
During the trial, email reminders are limited to a small allowance; SMS and WhatsApp are not included.
The trial ends automatically. Nothing is charged at the end of the trial, and it does not turn into a paid subscription unless you choose a plan and pay.
When the trial ends without a subscription, reminders stop and your account becomes read-only for 30 days: you can still sign in, view and export your data, and subscribe to continue. After those 30 days your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, except data we must keep by law.
There is no permanently free plan.

4. Paid plans and payment

The paid plans are Basic and Pro. Their features, limits and prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. [VAT / tax treatment of prices]
A subscription starts when your payment is successfully completed through our payment provider, [payment provider]. The first billing period begins on that date.
We never receive or store your full card number; payments are processed by the payment provider under its own terms.
Plan limits (such as active receivables, monthly email volume, API requests, team seats and templates) are enforced by the service. We will not upgrade you or charge you for more without your consent.

5. Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. The free trial never converts or renews automatically.

At the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you chose) your subscription renews for the same period at the then-current price, using the payment method you authorised at checkout.
We send an email reminder before each yearly renewal and at least [notice period for price changes] before a price change applies. If you do not agree with a new price, you can cancel before it applies.
If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you; if it cannot be completed, the subscription ends and the account becomes read-only for 30 days as described in section 3.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel automatic renewal at any time by writing to [email protected] or, once available, in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: you keep full access until then and are not charged again. Your account then becomes read-only for 30 days, during which you can export your data, before it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Prepaid SMS and WhatsApp credits

SMS and WhatsApp use prepaid credits that are separate from your plan and become available per country once each channel is verified. Credits are reserved when a message is submitted and settled according to the provider's billable result; messages are not sent when your balance is insufficient. Credit prices and any expiry or refund rules are shown before you buy credits.

8. Your responsibilities for reminders

You decide whom RemindCash contacts on your behalf and what is said. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and a genuine payment relationship with each customer, for the accuracy of amounts and due dates, for any consent required for SMS or WhatsApp, for honouring opt-outs, for the content of templates you approve, and for complying with the laws that apply to you. For your customers' personal data, we act as your processor: we process it only to provide the service on your instructions, keep it confidential and secure, use only the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, help you answer data-subject requests and delete it when your account is closed.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use RemindCash to send marketing, bulk or unsolicited messages; to contact people without a genuine payment relationship; to harass, threaten, mislead or impersonate anyone; to spoof sender identities or domains; to upload malware or overload, probe or bypass the service's limits or security; to access another company's data; or to resell the service without written permission. We may limit sending or suspend an account to stop misuse.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep RemindCash available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Message delivery depends on third-party providers; "accepted by the provider" does not mean "delivered" or "read". We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature that is essential to a paid plan.

11. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you enter and grant us the rights needed to host and process it to provide the service. You can delete your user account in Settings → Profile; to export or delete company data, write to [email protected].

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these Terms, use the service unlawfully or put others at risk, normally after notice. If we end the service without cause, we will refund the unused part of a prepaid period on a pro-rata basis. [proposal awaiting approval]
