RemindCash and Nudge do the same core job: you add an invoice once and the tool sends reminders before and after the due date until it is marked paid. Nudge is built for US-dollar contractors and freelancers, includes SMS credits in every plan and syncs invoices from QuickBooks Online. RemindCash lets you edit the reminder schedule step by step, supports recurring receivables, four currencies (EUR, GBP, TRY, USD) and English and Turkish — but its SMS and WhatsApp channels are not open yet. Their prices are almost the same.
What each product is for
Nudge (nudgepay.app) is an invoice reminder tool for US contractors and small service businesses. You add customers and invoices by hand or sync them from QuickBooks Online, and Nudge sends up to nine reminder stages by email, SMS or both. It is operated by JM Studio LLC in Ohio.
RemindCash is receivables tracking and payment reminder software for freelancers, agencies and small businesses. You record what each customer owes — once, by CSV/Excel import or as a recurring receivable — and RemindCash sends reminders in your business's name on a schedule you control. It does not create invoices and does not collect payments.

- RemindCash: Illustrative launch prices on remindcash.com/pricing; checkout is not open yet. SMS and WhatsApp use separate prepaid credits.
- Nudge: Prices in USD as listed on nudgepay.app.
Both tools start at roughly the same monthly price. The difference is in what the price includes: Nudge's plans bundle SMS credits and limit Basic to 20 active invoices, while RemindCash includes email reminders and charges SMS and WhatsApp separately as prepaid credits once those channels open.
Where RemindCash is stronger
- You decide the timing. Set your own reminder days — up to five steps, from 30 days before to 30 days after the due date — choose send hours in your customer's time zone and skip weekends. Nudge offers a fixed set of nine stages that you switch on or off, processed once a day at 9 AM Eastern Time.
- Recurring receivables. Weekly and monthly payments, each with its own reminder schedule. Nudge does not describe recurring invoices.
- Currencies and languages. EUR, GBP, TRY and USD amounts, and reminders in English or Turkish per customer. Nudge says it is designed for USD-based businesses.
- Import without accounting software. CSV and Excel import, plus partial payments and dispute or pause states that stop reminders.
Where Nudge is stronger
- SMS works today. Every Nudge plan includes SMS credits (200 or 750 a month), with recorded customer consent and automatic STOP handling. RemindCash's SMS is not open yet.
- QuickBooks Online sync. Nudge imports open invoices daily and marks them paid when the QuickBooks balance reaches zero. RemindCash has no accounting-software sync.
- Customers can mark an invoice paid. A secure link in each reminder lets the customer confirm payment and stop reminders. In RemindCash you record the payment yourself.
- Per-invoice control and more steps. Nudge lets you switch stages and channels on or off for each invoice, with up to nine stages; RemindCash applies one company-wide schedule of up to five steps.
- Longer trial and an Android app. 14 days without a card, versus RemindCash's 7.
Limitations of both
- Neither tool processes customer payments: customers pay you through your usual method.
- Nudge's Basic plan is capped at 20 active invoices and custom message templates are Pro-only.
- RemindCash's prices are launch prices and checkout is not open yet; its public API is built but not yet open.
Which is better for freelancers?
If you invoice in US dollars, already use QuickBooks Online or want text-message reminders right now, Nudge is the more complete choice today. If you bill in euros, pounds or lira, work with Turkish-speaking clients, have retainers or other recurring payments, or want to control exactly when each reminder goes out, RemindCash fits better.
Which is better for small businesses?
Small teams with many customers will notice Nudge's 20-active-invoice cap on Basic; Pro removes it. RemindCash adds team workspaces and roles, recurring receivables and CSV/Excel import for larger customer lists. If SMS is essential from day one, Nudge has it now.

FAQ
Is RemindCash a good Nudge alternative?
Yes, if you need a customisable schedule, recurring receivables, currencies other than USD or Turkish-language reminders. If QuickBooks Online sync or SMS today matter most, Nudge remains the closer fit.
Is Nudge the same as NudgePay?
Yes. The product is called Nudge and its website is nudgepay.app.
Do either of them collect payments for me?
No. Both send reminders; your customer pays you directly through your own payment method.
Can I try both for free?
Yes. Nudge offers a 14-day trial and RemindCash a 7-day trial, neither requiring a credit card. Neither has a permanent free plan.
