Introduction

What RemindCash does, where the API fits in and exactly what is available in v1 today.

RemindCash keeps track of what your customers owe and sends scheduled payment reminders in your business's name — before, on and after each due date. When you mark a receivable as paid, the remaining reminders stop. RemindCash does not collect payments: your customer pays you directly and you record the payment.

What the API is for

The REST API lets your own systems work with the same receivables you manage in the app:

  • create and update draft receivables from your billing or project tool,
  • record payments your customer reported to you,
  • pause, resume or cancel reminders for a receivable,
  • read the reminder attempts made for a receivable,
  • read your company's usage and prepaid credit balances.

Every write uses the same validation, permissions and safety rules as the app. API writes never send a message: receivables created through the API start as drafts and are activated in the app after review.

All endpoints are versioned under one base URL. Requests and responses are JSON over HTTPS.
